This delicate all wax head piece is quite old. Turn of the Century I would guess. It is mostly made up of sprays of wax buds fixed on a flexible band which can be worn as a head band or a tiara. The band is bond by hand with a gold satin like thread. Every inch or so there is a remnant of a wax flower It fits framing the face with the two little fragile beige silk bows on each side. The length of the band is 14 inches (34cm). The height of the decor 1 ½ inches (3.5 cm). Some of the wax has turned a darker color. It is showing its age which would makes it a romantic addition to a shabby chic wedding ensemble as well as being a collector’s piece.
