Dating from the 50’s or before this is an unusual little necklace. Each glass bead is a deep bright blue (oac 335) and is overlaid with three tiny Murano flowers on a green base. Between each main bead are three small glass beads, two green and one coral color. It has the typical barrel clasp. The length of the neckpiece is 15 ½ inches (44 cm). The diameter of the blue bead is ½ inch (1 cm). The condition is very good. This is a beautiful example of the Murano craftsmanship. Murano is an island belonging to Venice.
