This stunning long hand made necklace has 36 beautiful oval beads in graduating size. Each bead is in little sections containing a white 6 pointed star like flower. The spacers are small cobalt blue oval beads.

These Venetian glass beads are strung on the original heavy cotton cord and you see the knot at the top. The length of this vintage piece is 14 ½ inches (37cm).The largest bead is 1&1/8 inches (2.8 cm) in length. This is a beautiful example of the Murano craftsmanship. Murano is an island belonging to Venice. One can still go there and visit its glass blowing artisans. The condition is very good. This dates from the 40’s or perhaps earlier.
