There are the following four vintage pieces in this old box. A headdress, lace jabot, ladies white gloves and a man’s white bow tie. These were all found together as someone’s personal keepsake. It dates perhaps in the 30’s. The head band is hand made with a zig zag like design of white and silver satin cord. At each end is a little bouquet of wax flowers. The wreath is trimmed with pretty dainty cloth myrtle blossoms. The decorative jabot to be worn at the throat is a handsome machine made appliqué on net. It it’s length is 9 ½ inches (24cm) and at it’s widest point iin the middle it is 6 ½ inches (17cm) Included is a pair of used white gloves with a simple design on the back and a snap to close at the wrist. Then there is this tiny white bow tie for the groom. It is so small it hardly seems for real! The tie has lost it’s freshness. All of these items are a natural off white. This is a charming and romantic little treasure for the collector. However, the pretty crown and the jabot could still be worn today. Overseas surface postage $9.00, airmail $16.00
