This pretty doll has beautiful and carefully hand painted features. Her head is a composition and the rest of her body is tightly sewed pink cotton material. She is wearing the Geneva folk costume with the typical neck scarf and lace lined straw hat. Her hair is neatly set brown mohair. On her feet are simple black slippers. Under the green skirt is a stiff crinoline petticoat. There is a bit of light no harm fading on the pink apron. She is 11 ½ inches (29cm) tall. Geneva is in the French part of Switzerland. Each "county" has it’s own local costume.
