This off white embroidered net lace ladies cap is a pure delight! It is decorated with flowing ribbons and a few big silk ribbon roses. The wider ribbon is pink with gray and black décor. The long narrow ribbon is shades of green and red. There is a large purple and a large blue flower attached. Good condition, no holes in the net.
The adjustable circumference of the gathered front is 22 inches (54 cm). The length of the crown is 8 inches (22 cm). This is an unusual collector’s head piece or it could be worn for real at a special occasion. When I look at this late 18 hundreds hat I see a pretty young girl dancing in the village square!
