This pretty little doll is wearing a well made colorful dress typical of her part of Switzerland. She has on a white petticoat and stockings with black felt shoes. She has a brown mohair wig and a perky hat trimmed with felt flowers. This doll’s dress is made of two tones of felt with a pretty cerise apron. There is a red and a white felt heart on her bosom. The blue eyes and other features are hand painted. Attached is an original tag that reads "Rosina" Schaffhausen. Schaffhausen is a town in the German speaking part of Switzerland. Each "county" has it’s own local costume. The condition is excellent and unused. The face has no irregularities as might be thought from the photos. The doll is 7 inches (16cm) in height.
