NASA Early Space Program Literature and Photo This is a great collection of literature and photos of the early space programs. The photos are the launch and docking of Gemini IX-A, the Gemini 7/6 rendezvous in 1965, earth and sky views from Gemini V, earth terrain views from Gemini IV, Gemini IV astronaut Edward White walking in space and Ranger IX's photographs of the moon's surface. NASA Gemini VIII Fact Sheet & Lithograph 1966 This NASA Fact Sheet is dated April 1966 and is titled Gemini VIII Rendezous and Docking Mission. It describes the details of the mission that took place on March 16, 1966, the objectives, the problems, agena maneuvers and postflight news conference. It also has a biography of the pilots, Neil Armstrong and David Scott. The lithograph has various shots of Gemini VIII in space and different positions and distances between Gemini VII and the Agena spacecraft. One corner is torn. NASA Astronauts, Third Group This is a NASA lithograph photo of the third group of astronauts selected in 1963 to train for the Gemini and Apollo program. They are Aldrin, Anders, Bassett, Bean, Cernan, Chaffee, Collins, Cunningham, Eisele, Freeman, Gordon, Schweickart, Scott and Williams. Freeman and Bassett will killed in separate aircraft accidents during their training period.
