Royal Grafton Mother Teacup Set Lovely violets grace this English teacup set with gold trim honoring Mother. The footed teacup measures about 3 inches high. The matching saucer measures about 5-5/8 inches in diameter. There are a few gold marks near the center of this saucer, perhaps at time of firing. Both the saucer and teacup are marked on the back: Royal Grafton, Fine Bone China, Made in England. The teacup also has gold numbering 1808 handwritten on the bottom. No chips or cracks. Vintage Alfred Meakin Royal Ironstone Bowl Off white English square vegetable bowl, circa 1891-1897. This vintage serving piece measures about 6 inches by 6 inches along the top rim and 2 inches deep. The vertical ribbing adds to the charm of this delightful piece that has survived over 100 years. The bottom is marked Royal Ironstone China and Alfred Meakin, England, with the signature hallmark in the center. There is crazing and discoloration and a few glazing pits that the camera just isn't showing well, but no chips or cracks. Good condition.
