Fire King Vintage Bowl BC by Hart Anchor Hocking's Fire King line carried a gas station promotion depicting characters from the popular Johnny Hart BC caveman comic strip. c1970s. This delightful milk glass bowl has a carved rock appearance on the outside with the very toothy BC smiling dinosaur character and facsimile of Johnny Hart's signature. The other side features John the Tortoise with his inseparable buddy the Dookie Bird on his back and comical Apteryx, who always introduced himself as a wingless bird with hairy feathers. The facsimile of Johnny Hart's signature is on this side as well. The bottom of the bowl is marked Anchor Hocking Fire King, Oven Proof, Made in USA, with the number 32. This tab handled bowl measures about 5-1/4 inches across and 2-1/2 inches high. No chips or cracks. Excellent condition.

BC Caveman Grog Mug Prehistoric wild man Grog is sure to bring a smile to your face even on the worst mornings. Johnny Hart gave comic strip fans years of delight with the antics of the BC gang. This milk glass coffee mug measures about 3.25 inches high and offers a rugged raised pattern rock appearance on the handle and sides of the mug. The name Grog in raised lettering is on one side of the mug and a raised pattern of caveman Grog is on the other side. No chips or cracks. Excellent condition.
