Woman's Day May 1949 This 144-page magazine is a wonderful memory of years gone by. The May 1949 issue marked Woman's Day's twelfth year eighth issue and is filled with delightful articles, fashion and home decoration ideas and advertisements. The magazine originally sold for a mere five cents! The pages have yellowed a bit but there are no loose pages. The corners are curled and there is 1/2 inch tear on the front cover toward the bottom center. This vintage magazine is in average condition.

Inside articles include Fighting Fronts: Pacific Our Brightest Spot as War Enters Another Year; Battle of Solomons; and Nazi tactics Schwerpunkt and Afrollen. Numerous advertisements such as Texaco, Caterpillar Tractor, and Mount Vernon whiskey as well as Hollywood updates including the new Howard Hughes release, The Outlaw, with Jane Russell. Cover has original owner's mailing label and some minor staining from age. Corners have slight creasing but no tears. Inside pages have some browning but pages are not brittle. No tape or ink markings. Spine has wear but is intact. Very good plus condition.

Woman's Day April 1949 This 136-page vintage magazine originally sold for five cents. A lovely photograph by L. Willinger graces the cover. The pages have yellowed a bit but there are no loose pages. The corners are curled and the spin is worn. There is a name written on the cover (on the brim of the model's hat). This magazine is filled with ads from days gone by, suitable for framing. Average condition.

Ringling Brothers Circus Program Vintage souvenir magazine program for the 96th season of the Greatest Show On Earth, Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus. This 42-page magazine program is filled with information and photographs, as well as vintage ads, including Stephenson's Dogs, Ingeborg Rhodin, Charly Baumann, and Laszlo Donnert. There is some creasing along the spine but the pages are intact and secure. Front cover features Bomar artwork and has a crease on the lower right corner. Back cover is missing the right top corner portion of the page. Inside pages are crisp and clean, no tears or stains. Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus Magazine, copyrighted 1966 by the Circus Magazine, Harry S. Dube, Publisher. Very good condition.
