Recipes of Marlboro Country were gathered from meeting places, camps, and celebrations of that timeless land. Town recipe highlights include Hot Cinnamon Rolls, Chicken Fried Steak, and Beef and Beer Stew. Out on the Trails, menus change to Wild Berry Buckle, Whiskey Steak, and Crusty Corn Trout. Kitchen-tested Special Times include Pecan Peach Pie, Pepper Slaw, and Roast Turkey with Jalapeno Cornbreads. Mouth-watering images fill this 164-page cookbook.
