Victorian Andirons Cast Iron Faces Offering this pair of 19th century victorian cast iron chenets andirons; handsome raised detailed faces (look like lions faces with a smile - reminiscent of the doorknocker that was on Scrooge's door in the story A Christmas Carol); surrounded by scrolled leaves and each sets on two lions paw feet. Nice cutout handle on the top for handling. Each measures 14 inches tall x 7 1/2 inches wide x 11 1/2 inches deep - nice petite size for a bedroom or small fireplace. The only marking is an A on the back arms. Very good condition, no cracks or chips, very clean. A very handsome and unusual pair of andirons! Shipping & insurance will be $40.00 to most continental US addresses.

Metal Curtain Tie Backs Ornate Feathers Offering this pair (2 PC) of vintage metal curtain tie backs; made of a light weight metal with brown enamel finish; fronts of feathers have red and gold highlights. Each measures 6 1/2 inches long from the tip of the feather to the center of the curve on the side; then there is a back piece which would fit behind the curtain and attach to the wall which is 3 1/4 inches long - width on front is almost 2 inches. Good+ condition, no cracks in metal, few minor paint rubs and a couple tiny chippies that do not detract from looks. Circa early 1900's. Great decorative tie backs for any window!

Metal Curtain Finials Victorian Art Nouveau Offering this pair (2pc) of large ornate vintage curtain finials made of a sort of heavy pot metal with a brushed gold finish. These were designed to snap onto the curtain rod. Wonderful curved leaf pattern which would fit well with the victorian, art nouveau period, yet the spear like ends and center have a hammered look that would go well with the Arts & Crafts, Mission period of style. Each measures 12 inches long x 4 1/2 inches wide in the center. Marked Dovercraft on back side (which we could not find any information on this company). Good++ condition, no cracks or dents, very slight aging and rubbing on gold finish only enough to add character. Age on these finials are unknown but older. Excellent decorative adornments for any window!

Medical Cabinet Free Standing Excellent Size Offering this vintage free standing optometrist trial lens cabinet, made of pressed steel with a white baked enamel finish. Stands 42 inches tall and 23 inches wide. The top section is a slant front with two doors, one latches by knob on front and lifts up; the other is secured by a hidden latch and opens down flat. There is a raised rim around the bottom of this part of the cabinet to hold a stainless steel tray to hold the trial lens used for examining eyes. (These trial lens were used when the doctor did not have the upright standing instrument used to measure and test eyes). The top part measures 13 1/2 inches tall x 12 inches deep. The bottom part of the cabinet has two doors that latch and open to two removeable shelves. The bottom part measures 15 inches tall x 12 inches deep. Good++ condition on the cabinet, no cracks in the glass, minor edge chipping on metal frame, one slight crease in the top of back leg on left side, not sure if this was done at time of manufacture - has no crack in paint finish. The enamel finish could be restored if desired or leave as is to add character and history to the piece, circa 1920-30's. This cabinet is a perfect size to use in your bathroom to hold decorative bottles of bath crystals, soaps, jars; bottom could hold addtional wash cloths, towels, magazines; many possibilities. The nice clean lines of this piece enable it to fit any decor from victorian to shabby chic to modern! Buyer is responsible for picking up this cabinet at our location(we are located in southeast Ohio right off Interstate 77 between Cambridge and Marietta) or buyer is responsible for arranging pickup, packing, and shipping by a carrier of their choice. A very unique cabinet that could be used in any room!

Primitive Jelly Cupboard Great Size & Patina Offering this wonderful vintage solid wood jelly cupboard with two large blind doors. Measures 46 1/2 inches wide x 13 1/2 inches deep x 44 1/2 inches tall; nice champford trim on top piece. Latched door opens to two 3/4 inch thick adjustable shelves, which creates three storage shelves including base. Shelves measure 43 1/2 inches long x 10 3/4 inches deep - inside back is bead board strips. Good++ condition, no cracks in the wood, latch closes securely, few light wear marks from normal use, typical of a primitive piece, actually adds charm, nice warm honey pine type of color. An excellent storage piece for your country cottage, shabby chic, country primitive home - many uses in any room! Buyer is responsible for picking up this piece at our location (we are located in southeast Ohio right off SR77 interstate) or buyer will arrange pickup, packing, and shipping by the carrier of their choice.

Marble Paperweight Kielce Poland 1916 Offering this wonderful old marble slab with attached marble ball, engraved Kielce (which is in Poland) - 1916 on one end. The original purpose of this architectural piece is unknown but it would make an impressive paperweight for your home or office. Measures 6 inches x 4 inches x 3 inches tall, very good condition, no cracks or chips except for one small chip on underside corner and a tiny bit of roughness on side corner edge - does not detract. A handsome brown and white marble, very heavy, a piece of Polish history!

It has a pretty floral decoupaged band around center and a little girl on top of the lid. Around the hole where string is pulled it states Copyright. The hole looks to be celluloid or possibly ivory. Holder measures 3 1/2 inches tall, good+++ condition, no cracks or chips; one small rub on top edge of lid; a few teeny nicks on bottom edge from normal use over the years, decals are complete. A beautiful old string holder for your collection!

Scotty Dog Bookends Syroco Wood Vintage Offering this set of vintage bookends by Syroco Wood, circa 1940's; depicting a cute scotty dog standing at a garden gate, railings have floral garlands, the steps look like cobblestones, and there is even a tiny three leaf clover in the top of the center gate slat. Each measures 5 1/2 inches tall x 5 inches wide. Very good condition, no cracks, a very tiny nick on one gate slat and a small flake chip on bottom edge of cobblestone step in center - not real noticeable as it is an old chip and has darkened with age to blend in. A very handsome set of bookends for your home or office - perfect for the scotty dog collector!

Oak Show Case Shelf Clock Case Lighted Antique Offering this antique oak clock case that has been made into a lighted display case with glass shelves and mirrored back and sides . Case measures 23 inches tall x 15 inches wide x 4 1/2 inches deep. Beautiful pressed morning glory blossoms and scrolled leaves. Raised door also has a raised detailed pattern and tiny side hinges. The glass shelves are 2 1/2 inches deep x 6 1/8 inches wide x 2 1/8 inches tall - there are six shelves. The light is hidden above the top shelf. Rotary wheel light switch. Very good condition, no cracks or chips; oak is clean; light works fine; the front edges of glass & mirror pieces is rough cut, not beveled; could be covered if found distracting, but currently has an almost patterned effect. The person we acquired this from used it for her Swarowski crystal pieces. Any miniatures, especially glass would look wonderful in this handsome case! Shipping/insurance to continental US addresses will be $15.00

These are oval in shape, with the two mounting screws design. The center line distance of the 2 screws is 2-1/64", and the oval shape is 1-9/16" x 2-5/8". The bail or handle part will swing or pivot freely in each of it's pivot holes, very nicely made handles overall. This set includes the standard drawer pull threaded machine screws, to fit in the rear handle tapped holes. The screws supplied are for 3/4" drawer front thickness. A good, sturdy, and nice looking set of drawer pulls!

Bookcase Ornate Carving Two Door Lions Offering this handsome 19th century two door bookcase with heavily hand carved ornate designs of acanthus leaves, scrolls, and two lion heads at the top of sides. Front and sides are all carved. Stands on large paw feet in front and large round thick legs in back. Wood looks to be oak, retains its original ebony finish. Very well built piece - the majority of the wood used is over 3/4" thickness, shelves are thick and sturdy. A truly unique piece. Includes the original key to lock the doors. Circa mid 1800's, most likely British in origin. The price does not include shipping and handling. Feel free to contact us with questions you may have - we also have more photos available.
