GLASS4056

Enamelware Plates Childs Nursery Rhymes 3 PC Offering these three vintage childrens' nursery rhyme enamelware plates, each measuring 8 1/4 inches in diameter, with raised 3/4 inch rim to keep food from spilling out. One is baby blue and the other two are light tan. Three different nursery rhymes. No makers marks. These plates are in near fine condition, no cracks or chips on the enamelware. A little bit of wear on the nursery rhyme litho on the blue and one tan, still readable though. Looks like they were hardly used and well taken care of - not repros, these are old ones! Great pieces for your collection!

T19310

Painted Chamber Pail Bucket w/ Cover Bail & Handle This is a hard to find covered galvanized metal chamber pail, with a painted exterior from the late 1800 to the early 1900's era. The pail is 13" tall from the bottom to the top of the cover handle, and 12" diameter at the widest part at the top. It is a gray/green color on the outside, with gold and black decoration line. The inside is a clean galvanized finish. It is in good+ original condition with some minor surface rust and pitting on the cover mostly, and some rust on the steel part of the bail. The handle is wood on the bail, and is in very good solid condition. We were able to find similar pails in old catalogs, including the Sears, Roebuck and Company catalog from 1902 (the one that was reprinted). A very study, well made pail, in fact the add in the catalog mentions it is worth a dozen tin pails. It could be used for a coal or ash bucket also. A hard to find type of pail!
