Rotating Stamp Holder Cast Iron Ornate 1800's
Offering this late 1800's to early 1900's cast iron rotating stamp holder, ornate intricate branch pattern with holders for 10 stamps. Measures 7 1/2 inches tall x approximately 8 inches in diameter; retains is original black jappaning finish with red trim on base and tiny red flowers on upper center. Jappaning is about 85% intact, some minor chipping around base edge; does not detract. These were used in post offices and general offices to hold all the rubber stamps they used to use. Cast Iron Trivet Ornate Design Hopewell Rare
Offering this handsome large cast iron trivet, wonderful ornate design - floral pinwheel in the center and curved leaves at the bottom; crisp high quality casting, sets on 4 feet; measures 8 inches x 5 3/4 inches. Marked on back Hopewell (a company, I believe used to make stoves); possibly this trivet went with one of their stoves. B.L.W. Antique Ornate Cast Door Knob/Plate Set
This is a quality made victorian period, complete ornate cast iron interior door knob set. This particular one appears to have had a copper coating on it originally, as some of the coating can still be seen. The plates and knobs are perfusely decorated and in very good condition overall. The plates are 1 5.8" x 6 1/4", and the screw holes are 5.25" on center. The lock and latch assembly is 1" x 5 5/8" on the main plate, and the back section is 1/2" x 3 5/8 x 3 3/16 depth from the back of the plate to the end of the assembly, or 3.25" deep overall. A working key is provided, along with the original screws for mounting the plates. The latch plate (that fits to the door frame), is included but appears to be a later replacement. Would best fit on a door about 2" thick or a bit less, and can be painted or plated to match your application. All the parts are clean and rust free. The machinics work smoothly. This set came from an old church building that was remodeled. Hard to find original ornate hardware set!

Antique Sadiron & Trivet W H Howell 1800's Flatrion
Offering this antique sadiron or flatiron, dating 1830-1840's, using the primitive sand cast method. No makers marks, measures 6 3/4 inches long x 4 inches wide x 5 3/4 inches tall including handle. Very good condition, no cracks or chips, no rust; handle is very secure. The cast iron trivet is marked The W H Howell Co, Geneva, Ill; circa 1882-1934. This trivet fits the iron perfectly. Measures 5 7/8 inches long x 4 1/4 inches wide x 1/2 inch tall. Very good condition, no cracks, chips, or rust; there are two raised nubs on the top, on in front and one in back. The front one looks have have a piece missing, it could be that this happenend during forging or a very old chip. Sets on three feet. A very handsome, primitive sadiron for your collection!

Antique Hammered Door Knocker (2) in Original Box
This is a very nice pair of two new old hardware stock door knocker /s in their original cardboard box. The label reads "TWO RUST PROOF ALLOY CASTING NO. 702 DOOR KNOCKER HAMMERED IRON FINISH REFLECTO LETTERS NEW YORK 29 N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.". The box is in good solid condition with some minor staining and wear marks. The door knockers inside the box are in the original paper covering, and come with 2 threaded bolts and washers, for through the door type bolt on mounting. Made for door up to 1.5" thick. Nicely manufactured, USA made in around the 1950's era! Each door knocker is 6.5" from top to bottom.

Markings are D H Whittemore, Worcester, Mass; Patent Date Nov 11,1866; one other marking looks like The Onion or possibly The Union. Very good condition, clean, gears turn smoothly, no dents, cracks or missing teeth on gears. The thumb screw to attach the tool to the table appears to be original, but may be missing a little washer that protects your table when clamped on. Beef Steak Tongs Hand Forged Iron 1800's
Offering these mid 1800's, hand forged iron beef steak tongs with riveted spring handle. Tines have tiny serations on the tips.
