Metal Horse Bookends Vintage
Offering this pair of vintage solid cast metal bookends of a saddled horse grazing, very nicely detailed. Each measures 4 inches wide x 3 3/4 inches tall, no makers marks. A gold wash finish was applied over metal; some has worn off, but just adds character. No dents or cracks. A great pair of bookends for holding your vintage western books!

Egyptian Sphinx Bookends Ornate Metal
Offering this unusual antique cast iron bookends measuring 4 1/4 inches wide x 3 1/2 inches tall. Ornate raised detailed Egyptian Sphinx surrounded by tall columns and floral stems. Above on the pontil area of this frame is the winged sun symbol. Excellent details, wonderful patina. Fine condition, no cracks or chips; bottom felt had deteriorated beyond repair so it has been replaced with new black velvet. No markings as to maker; possibly Bradley & Hubbard. Perfect for your victorian decor as the art deco Egyptian revival style decorations were very popular in the to early 1900's due to the discovery of Tutenkahmen's tomb. Brass Eagle Bookends Large Size Spread Eagle
Offering this handsome large pair of solid brass bookends, depiciting our regal American Eagle with spread wings holding a shield with stars and stripes. Each measures 7 1/2 inches wide x 4 1/4 inches tall, very good condition, no cracks or chips; brass is still very shiny, solid heavy weight for sturdiness. Marked on back Spread-Eagle, copyright 1952, A Metalcrafters, the number 8-9, and two symbols. A very handsome pair of bookends for your home or office!
