Circa: Late 1800's-Early 1900's Condition: Good+ Manufacturer: not marked
This is a set of 2 different weight cast iron weight set, we believe is for an antique clock. The weight of the smaller is 2 pounds, and the size of the same is 3" high x 2" diameter at the base, tapering to 1.75 diameter at the top. The larger is 2.6 pounds, size is 3" high x 2.2" diameter at the base, tapering to 2" at the top. Both have a steel loop inside the top cavity for attaching the weight to the clock weight hook arm. Both weights are in good+ condition, no rust or damage, the casting is a bit rough, most likely cast that way since these are not weights that would be exposed. A hard to find antique replacement weight set. I wish I knew what clock that they were made for originally, but I do not. |
