McCoy Pottery

Tall Vintage McCoy Vase

Picture

All of my McCoy pieces are guaranteed to be authentic McCoy pottery. I am a collector, as well as a seller of vintage pottery and handle literally hundreds of pieces of pottery on a weekly basis.

Floraline is a line of McCoy pottery that was made by McCoy in the 1940's; Roseville Floraline by McCoy was introduced in 1960 for the retail florist industry; most pieces are marked Floraline with a model number, some will also have USA, and LC or MCP on them. LC for Lancaster Colony, and MCP for Mt. Clemons Pottery. Both companies owned & operated the Nelson-McCoy company for a period of time. Some of the Floraline Roseville items will also have FF on them for Fineforms. Reference info: Vol. 111 McCoy Pottery by Bob Hanson; & the 1980 book titled: The Collector's Ency. of McCoy Pottery by S. Huxford.

Nelson McCoy Pottery Cookie Jar For sale is a great looking vintage Nelson McCoy Pottery stoneware cookie jar. c.1939. 'Bean Pot' style cookie jar. Shown in Vol. 11 of the McCoy series books, p. 221, row 2. These cookie jars only came in black and ivory, and I had the black one too, but sold it awhile ago. This one is in very good display condition; just missing a bit of the original cold paint, and that is it for visible flaws. As for unnoticeable flaws, the underside of the lid has a chip, but when lid is in place, it is not visible, so who cares! It also has one glaze pop on interior lip of jar, but this doesn't show when the lid is on. Personally, I would call this jar in 'good vintage' condition for a jar that is now over 70 years old! Guaranteed to be authentic, vintage McCoy pottery!

McCoy Pottery Advertising Beanpot F0r sale is a unique McCoy Pottery advertising beanpot. c.1974-1985. Has incised mark: #341 McCoy LCC USA, (LCC stands for Lancaster Colony Co., which operated McCoy from 1974-1985, see books for all the McCoy marks). This beanpot is in very good condition and reads: Durgin Park Market - Dining - Rooms USA. I ran across an old Durgin Park Market pamphlet somewhere and apparently there is a restaurant in Boston called Durgin Park and they use a lot of these stoneware style beanpots. I recently sold one Durgin Park beanpot that was made by the RRP Roseville Co. too. Most of the great American pottery companies like McCoy, RRP, Zanesville, made crocks, beanpots, cheese crocks etc., for other companies, with the company logos on them, like this one! Therefore, this is a great cross-collectible item: Advertising & McCoy Pottery! This beanpot has no chips or cracks and is 6.5 tall x 7.5 wide. 1.05esa#

Vintage McCoy Apple Wallpocket For sale is a vintage McCoy Pottery apple wallpocket. c:1953. This wallpocket has a couple of minor flaws which is why the price is reduced. It has one teensy-weensy glaze pop on body of apple, it is glazed over, so this is just a very minor factory flaw. It has one surface flake off a bottom leaf which is visible; and one flake on the underside of a leaf which is not visible from front display portion. If I were keeping this for myself to display I would just dot the visible flake with some green paint. The interior of the apple has some mineral deposits, but who cares, it's on the interior! As you can see from the pictures, despite the little flaws, it is still a great old McCoy for your collection! Final markdown.

McCoy Antique Curio For sale is a vintage McCoy Antique Curio pitcher and bowl. c:1960's. 2 in store; price is for one. Gorgeous! Shown on page 266, Vol. 1 by B. Hanson in the green color. This beautiful matte finish pitcher and bowl is one piece. It stands 7 tall x 8 wide. One has no chips or cracks; other one has a 1 inch hairline on the bowl rim edge. Dab it with some white paint and you'll never see it again. It really is not very visible unless looking at it up under your nose so price is not reduced much for this type of flaw. The hairline looks prominent in picture #5 because that is a magnified closeup. Perfect for a shabby chic or powder room! You could order both and put on each nightstand as a vase or you can make lamps out of them by drilling a hole in the bottom.

Two for One McCoy Blossomtime Vases For sale are two matched McCoy Pottery Blossomtime vases. Both for one price. One is fine, the other one has a visible hairline on frontside. Matte white Blossomtime urn vases. One vase has no chips or cracks; has some crazing, and 2 craze lines that are noticeable only if looking at it up close, but it still displays very well. Has raised McCoy mark on bottom. The craze lines might first appear as hairlines, but are not. One tiny craze line is on interior of top rim; other is to right of pink flower on frontside. Both vases stand 6.5 tall x 5.75 across top rim; and almost 4 inches wide at bottom rim. The other vase has a visible hairline which permeates both sides; it could be easily repaired since it is matte white; books at library tell how to repair pottery; and it is still a nice shelf piece.
