This print is in average condition, some discolored areas near edges, but that just gives it that old vintage charm anyway. Frame has some flecks of the aqua paint off. It is 15 high x 12 inches wide. Bottom of print reads: 1952 Argosy Picture Publishing Co., Inc., N.Y. Just a nice vintage print to display with some of your other vintage items! Would be pretty in a retro kitchen, powder room, or budoir!

Antique Print Ad - Yeast Foam Tablets Antique Print Ad - Yeast Foam Tablets. c.1922. For sale is a nice print I removed from the October 1922 issue of Woman's Home Companion, Crowell Publishing, Inc. It is a picture of a young woman perusing a book titled: The Art of Baking Bread, and the advertisement is for Yeast Foam Tablets. I picked up the frame somewhere, and painted it in a distressed country blue & white. The frame is 16.5 high x 13 wide; the print itself is 14 L x 11 W. Great to hang in the kitchen, or in a bakery or restaurant! (You could paint the frame another color if you wanted), or use a different frame.

Vintage Botanical Prints For sale are two vintage botanical prints. 2 for one price = only $50/each. Backs have foil labels: The University Photo and Gift Shop, G.F. Morgan, Ithaca, N.Y. Both feature flowers and moths. They are somewhat dirty, and need to be cleaned and re-framed as these frames are not attractive. They are 9.75 wide x 11.75 tall; frame is 10.25 x 12.25 tall. Both prints have initials BW on stems. One has numbers/letters I. I. ch.I right corner; then Cl t. s. B. 2 in left corner. Picture with darker colors has: I. I. ch. 2 and Cl, upper right corner, and 2. s. a. 1 in upper left corner.

Wallace Nutting Water Witching Print For sale is a Wallace Nutting Water Witching print. Signed in pencil: Water Witching, Wallace Nutting. It is in the original frame w/matte. The print itself is in good condition; the matte is somewhat dirty. Has a paper label on back: Shells Bookstore, Stat'y, Pictures & Frames, Lima, Ohio. The frame is 14.75 tall x 17 wide; the print is 7.5 tall x almost 9.5 wide. It is hard to get a really good picture of it because of the glass which is not non-glare. Wallace Nutting was born in Rockingham, Mass. in 1861 and died in 1941.

Antique Hand Tinted Print For sale is an antique hand tinted Teton National Park print. Very nice antique print, marked on the back: Hand Tinted by Aunt Ida Hubbard; back of print also reads: Mt. Moran at Sunrise Teton National Park, copyright by Crandall, Grand Teton National Park #1105. Bottom left front of print has raised printed words: Crandall (c) Teton Park. There is one 1" crease mark on lower left bottom of picture, but otherwise, it is in good antique condition with original wood back. I had to take it out to clean the glass, it was filthy. It measures 10 high x 12 wide. Any white stuff in the pics is sunglare, there are no faded spots on this item. The painting/hand tinting is incredibly fine on this.

Two Vintage Floral Poppy Prints For sale are two vintage floral prints. Both for one price!. Great old prints in good condition and retain their original paper backings. The backings are somewhat torn and tattered however. The backs are signed and numbered #38. I cannot make out what the words read however. They are 11.25 inches wide and 9.25 inches high. One of the frames is missing a 1.5 inch size surface area of the frame, near the bottom. This is painted over and the paint matches rest of frame, so it either came like that, or happened a very long time ago. Vintage Heran Chaban Large Framed Print For sale is a large framed print. It is signed Heran Chaban or Charan, and #66 in left corner below picture. It might be a water color, but the signature is in pencil below the print, so I assume this is a print. The hardwood frame has old label on back: Frames Rigildeo, Oil Paintings Restored, Rose Frame Shop, 1428 Brush Street, Det. 26 Mich., WO-3-0354, (note the old state abbreviation on it: Mich vs MI). Nice overall condition. It is 24.5 tall x 28.25 wide. It is hard to get a really good photo of it because of the glass, (you should replace the glass with non-glare glass). Age est: early 20th C. Helen Dryden Art Deco Print For sale is a print featuring a print copy of a work by Helen Dryden. HD was known for her cover art for Vogue magazine in the early 1900's. This is an old print in an old frame. The frame is 13.25 long x 9.5 wide. The picture/print is fine but hard to get a clear picture of it because of the glare on the glass. It would be nice reframed since this is a rather simple, unattractive frame. au

Vintage Floral Bouquet Prints For sale are two vintage floral prints. Both for one price!. Featuring flowers, e.g. iris, roses, lillies, etc. These appear to have had a paper backing at one time, but most of it was already removed prior to my purchasing them. I did take the pics out to clean the glass and they are not signed, but the backs have darkened slightly with age. They measure 9 long x 8 wide. I think these would be beautiful in a guest bedroom or powder room. Any white stuff in the pics is sunglare, the colors are not faded at all, just muted.

Three Vintage Horse Prints For sale are three vintage horse prints. ( 3 prints for one price = $25/each!). Very detailed prints featuring horses. These prints are not new, I took them out to clean the glass and the back edges are quite yellowed. The prints have the artist's name: Jeanine Mellin '49; it also says D.A.C. N.Y. on them. These are prints from original art from that artist. These have no condition problems, you just need to reframe them. The frames they are in are just cheap frames that do not do anything for them. The background in these pics looks like the Sonoma/Napa Valley area of California. They are 8.5 x ll inches and any white spots in the pics are sun glare. I think they would be great with a thick white matte and black wood frames, , (see pic #2), in an office/library setting, or wherever you like to put your horses!

Vintage Sidney Lucas Floral Prints For sale are two vintage floral prints. 2 for one price!, very shabby chic!. = $60/each. They are in ivory colored frames with lime green mattes and are 11 long x 9 wide. They feature floral bouquets and have T.L. Trevost name underneath the bouquet. On bottom of prints are the words: Copyright by Sidney J. Lucas N.Y. City, No. ---- (numbers are under the matte), Made in USA. These are fairly old prints and still have their original paper backing. The paper backing has a stamp that reads: Danto Furniture Mart, 7800 W. Vernor Hwy. Detroit 9, MICH, Vinewood 1-1200. Note the old postal abbreviation: Mich. vs. MI. Vernor Hwy. used to be a popular shopping district, however, that was a very long time ago!

Vintage Prints of New York For sale are two vintage prints featuring New York. 2 for one price! Great old prints, that look like the old colorized photographs, but these are prints. I have 2 more for sale w/different scenes that were purchased with these, but are being sold separately as a pair. This set features pictures of Broadway in N.Y. One reads: Lower Broadway Near Park Row, 1852. Other one reads: Broadway from Bowling Green, 1826. These are about 11 7/8 wide x 6 high, and are in good condition. The frames just need some old english on them. They also retain their original paper backings. They would work well in an office, foyer, etc.

The picture of the girl is 9.5 long x 7.5 wide; the boy holding his puppy is 10.25 long x 8.25 wide. Both look great together even though they are different sizes; they have similar colors in them. Vintage Print For sale is a vintage print. Not an antique print, but is not brand new either. It is signed on bottom left but is hard to make out; looks like Culyere? The picture features a little girl with doll like face looking at a birdcage with 4 colorful little birds in it, (finches and parakeets). Backside is marked: D124 (12 x 14), Radio Picture Frame Co., Inc. The picture itself is 12 x 14; the frame is 18 L x 14 W. A very charming picture that be especially nice in a girl's room. The face on the girl in the picture looks a lot like a Madame Alexander Doll.

Antique Hitchcock Dutch Girl Print For sale is an antique George Hitchcock Dutch girl w/flowers print. Very beautiful print. Age est: pre 1920's. This print was never out of this frame prior to my taking it out to check whether it was a print or a watercolor. It has the original wood back and remnants of very old back cover paper. Inside is a late 19th-early 20th C. newspaper which shows Victorian dressed ladies, etc. The paper should be removed and an acid free paper put in. The glass is very wavy, also indicating antique age. The newspaper in the back of print is at the point of disintegrating. The wood frame is quite nice and is 22 tall x 18 wide; and appears to be Mahogany. Print is 18 long x 14.5 wide. The glass also needs to be cleaned. G. Hitchcock was an American painter from 1850-1913; he did a series of Dutch paintings with women and flowers and died in Europe. This is an early antique print, not an oil or watercolor. The print also has 'G. Hitchcock' name on lower right corner which I forgot to photograph. It was hard to get a really good picture of it because of the wavy glare glass. Vintage John Knowles Hare Print For sale is a vintage John Knowles Hare print. John Knowles was known for his drypoint etching portraits and magazine cover illustrations. This print is called: Constance. Nice condition; hard to get clear photos of it because the glass is old, wavy and glare. Frame is 13.5 wide x 18 long. This lady has a beautiful face.

Antique Print For sale is an antique print. c:1917. For your consideration is a lovely old antique print that looks just like a sampler! The frame is 12.5 x 10.25. The paragraph on the print reads: Behind The Cloud The Starlight Lurks, Through Showers the Sunbeams Fall, For God, Who Loveth All His Works, Has Left His Hope With All. Bottom is marked 1917, P.F. Volland & Co, Chicago, 645 M. There is just one tiny remnant of the original paper backing stuck to the cardboard on the back. The print is in good condition and so is the frame. Perfect in a country setting! I would re-frame it with a matte in a nicer frame.

Two Vintage Bird Prints For sale are two vintage bird prints being sold together. = $75/each. Same frames and mattes but different birds; one features hummingbirds; other has cardinals. Both are 15.5 wide x 21.5 long. They could use a cleaning and pictures need to be flattened out, and non-glare glass would be nice too. Both have an artist name on them that looks like 'V. Sibal', then copywright symbol: D.A.C. N.Y. Age est: 1930's or earlier. Very lovely old prints.

Antique Frame and Currier & Ives Lithograph For sale is an antique frame and Currier & Ives lithograph. This was listed in the auction catalog as a 'Currier & Ives Lithograph, Little Sarah, hand tinted in a 19th C. Mahogany frame'. Auction value: $120-200.00, and auction value is generally 1/2 market price. The litho is very sweet, but just a bit dingy around edges. The frame is in very good condition; it is mahogany hardwood and has the original hardwood back. I did not remove the back because the picture looks very delicate and I did not want to damage anything. The frame is what really attracted my attention. It is very mission style. The frame is 19.25 long x 15.5 wide. Bottom of litho reads: Little Sarah, Published by Currier & Ives, 152 Nassau St. New York. The picture depicts a little girl with shirley temple curls, and blue eyes that match her dress, holding her kitty! ddauCC-V;sldgo7/09

Vintage Gold Dust Assortment For sale is a vintage Gold Dust cleanser tin, washing powder box and sign. The Gold Dust items feature two black figurines. The Gold Dust tin was unopened, but I had to drill a hole in bottom to remove the contents as the p.o. will not permit mailing without a DNR permit. The front of tin is in good display condition; side & back paper is smudged. It is 4.75 tall x 3 wide. Next is the Gold Dust box of washing soap, (contents removed). Last is a small Gold Dust sign, pic #6, (it has old state abbreviation on it, Todd Brothers Company, Waukesha, Wis., likely from the 60's). Great cross-collectible items for the kitchen or laundry room!
