Canonsburg Yellow Rose Vegetable Bowl
For sale is a lovely Canonsburg yellow rose vegetable bowl. Canonsburg Pottery Co., PA, in business from 1901-1978. This bowl has a gold backstamp which is mark 39 & 40 in Lehners book of marks. The backstamp reads: Simplicity The Hallmark of Quality Yellow Rose, with the canon symbol. No chips or cracks on this bowl. It is 9 wide x 2.75 high. This is a lovely pattern; perfect for spring!

Canonsburg Yellow Rose Dinner Plates
For sale are Canonsburg Yellow Rose dinner plates. (6 in stock, price is for one plate). This is a lovely yellow rose 10 inch dinner plate made by the Canonsburg Pottery Co., (1901-1978). These are backstamped in gold: Simplicity, The Hallmark of Quality, with the canon symbol. The mark can be seen more clearly in Lehner's Book of Marks. The vegetable bowl also reads: Yellow Rose on it, which is the pattern name. These do not appear to have been used, or if used, not very much!

Antique Canonsburg Yellow Rose Dinner Plates
For sale is an antique Canonsburg yellow rose dinner plate. (2 in stock, price is for one plate). c:1900-1909. These are 10.5 wide, (a bit larger than the other dinner plates I have listed separately), and have the oldest backstamp on them according to Kovels, p.54. The gold backstamp dates to 1900-1909, and reads: SKY LINE Made in USA Canonsburg Pottery, and has a tree symbol. You could put these at the head & foot of your table, with the other plates on the sides. These do not appear worn or used; must have sat in a china cabinet for show. The yellow rose pattern is perfect for a spring/summer party!
