Large Vintage Needlepoint Sampler For sale is a large vintage needlepoint sampler on linen. Age est: 1950's. Nice older sampler. Purchased unframed; but I put it in a temporarary frame just to protect it for now. Side of linen reads: The American Home of Paragon Needle Craft. It is very nicely done; good details and colors. It not signed or dated, but looks like it was once in a frame because it has old tape marks on all the overlap edges, see pic #8. The old tape marks do not show when framed except for one mark near bottom left, see pic #7. You'd want to have this professionally framed but you can have this frame if you want it. The frame size is 19.75 x 25.5 tall; interior opening is 22.5 x 17; but the linen is larger because it has the overlap edge. Great for a country estate! 11/08brcs

1784 Priscilla Morgan Needlework Sampler For sale is an antique needlework sampler by Priscilla Morgan. c:1784. It is signed: Priscilla Morgan, age 11, PM 1784. It features the alphabet, birds, trees, flowers, woman w/butter churn, etc. It is set in a very heavy wood frame with wood backing, (the corners of the frame have separated a bit, but frame is still sturdy. There is also some paint loss on the frame). The needlework is on a linen background with some soiling as expected due to the aging process, and it has two tiny frayed spots on the linen, (on lower left and right side). Frame is 18.75 tall x 14.75 wide. Looks great in a country, primitive or mission style room. aucMC1107

Framed Needlepoint Sign For sale is a framed needlepoint sign. The needlepoint is on linen; it reads: 'I know I'm Efficient, tell me I'm Beautiful'. Good condition; two yellowish small streaks on the linen, (not sure if those are just part fo the linen fabric or not but are not really even visible or distracting from 12 inches away). Backside has a label: Zephr Deisngs, Custom Picture Framing, . . . Brattleboro, Vermont. It is 7.75 tall x 12.75 wide. Great for an office or craft room!

Very nicely done needlepoint picture featuring a woman standing near a fence with quilts hanging over the fence on linen. Near the woman is a lamp post with a sign that reads: 'Quilts for Sale'. Vintage Needlepoint Kitchen Picture For sale is a vintage framed needlepoint kitchen picture. How do I know it is vintage? It has a bakelite picture hanger on the backside which reads: Pat. Pending Made in USA. Also, the paper backing and wire look pretty aged too! The phrase on it reads: No Matter Where I Serve My Guests It Seems They Like My Kitchen Best, with pics of salt & sugar cannisters, roosters, teapot, old stove and a granny putting something on the stove. The frame is quite nice, and is 18 inches wide x 15 inches tall. The background color is mauve. Very nice pic for a country style abode!
