J.A. Bauer Pottery Co., founded by John Andrew Bauer around 1910 until 1962. There is a new Bauer Pottery Co., that makes reproductions of some of the old Bauer products, so be careful when purchasing items that are represented at 'vintage', when in fact, they may be 'new'!
--Bauer made a very popular tableware line called 'ring' ware, as well as other lines and art pottery.
