Vintage Bauer? Flower Frog For sale is a vintage flower frog. Looks just like the Bauer frog that is shown in the book, pg. 28 by J. Chipman. Same hole placement, blue glaze and legs. Nice heavy frog w/7 holes. No chips; just has one very faint, tight tiny hairline near top back end. It just looks like a craze line; all-over crazing which looks more prominent in the pictures than in reality. And, there is 1 teensy glaze separation line on its head. This happens during firing of clay, sometimes the clay shrinks and separates. Edges of it are smooth, so it is not a manmade 'crack'. It is 4.25 long x 1.5 tall.
