Antique Doulton & Co. Earthenware Biscuit Jar For sale is an antique Doulton & Co. earthenware biscuit jar. c: 1858-1891. One of a kind unique antique! It appears to be hand painted and is in 'very good antique' condition. Bottom has tiny incised mark: 'Doulton', and a red underglaze mark: 'A2171', and initials: 'WJ'. Very difficult to get a picture of the marks due to the color of jar and being that the lettering is very tiny and worn; you need a good magnifier. The metal is silverplate, very sturdy, but unmarked; just the interior underside of lid is pitted, see pic#8. Good sized jar, standing 9 inches tall up to top of handle; 7 tall to finial; or 6 tall if measuring up to lid rim. Some faint crazing; and a bit of spidering, mainly on the bottom as expected for age and use. One side of jar has a crouching hunting dog amongst the flowers, and other side has a quail. This is an amazing piece of earthenware. I have not come across anything comparable to this jar. No paypal on this item unless you are a verified buyer with a confirmed address. Vintage Royal Doulton Rhapsody Platter For sale is an outstanding large vintage Royal Doulton Rhapsody platter. c:1940. Good condition. The backstamp is shown on pg. 237 of Kovels book. Lion on a crown, Made in England, Royal Doulton England, Rhapsody, D. 6124. Incised mark: 10-40 = Oct. 1940, and another mark in red: IC; and a mark in green. This platter is 15.5 long x 12.5 wide. It does have some minor scratches but these are not visible in ordinary light; you only see them if under a lamplight. Great to use or just display! Perfect to set a Thanksgiving turkey on! The current replacement value: $139.95.

Royal Doulton Bunnikins Plate For sale is a very nice Royal Doulton Bunnikins Plate. A lovely plate that bears the Royal Doulton logo/trademark on the back, and has the date of 1936 on it. Vintage Royal Doulton Cardinal Toby Mug For sale is a vintage Royal Doulton cardinal toby mug. A Great Gift! Called the Cardinal. It measures about 4.25 tall x about 4 wide. He has the Doulton stamp on the bottom, an incised number #48, and the letter K, (artist's initial). He is in good vintage condition, just a bit of crazing on the bottom. This particular character was issued in 1939 and discontinued in 1960. A great gift for the Toby collector!
