Antique Print Ad - Yeast Foam Tablets Antique Print Ad - Yeast Foam Tablets. c.1922. For sale is a nice print I removed from the October 1922 issue of Woman's Home Companion, Crowell Publishing, Inc. It is a picture of a young woman perusing a book titled: The Art of Baking Bread, and the advertisement is for Yeast Foam Tablets. I picked up the frame somewhere, and painted it in a distressed country blue & white. The frame is 16.5 high x 13 wide; the print itself is 14 L x 11 W. Great to hang in the kitchen, or in a bakery or restaurant! (You could paint the frame another color if you wanted), or use a different frame.

Vintage Gold Dust Assortment For sale is a vintage Gold Dust cleanser tin, washing powder box and sign. The Gold Dust items feature two black figurines. The Gold Dust tin was unopened, but I had to drill a hole in bottom to remove the contents as the p.o. will not permit mailing without a DNR permit. The front of tin is in good display condition; side & back paper is smudged. It is 4.75 tall x 3 wide. Next is the Gold Dust box of washing soap, (contents removed). Last is a small Gold Dust sign, pic #6, (it has old state abbreviation on it, Todd Brothers Company, Waukesha, Wis., likely from the 60's). Great cross-collectible items for the kitchen or laundry room!

Vintage Needlepoint Kitchen Picture For sale is a vintage framed needlepoint kitchen picture. How do I know it is vintage? It has a bakelite picture hanger on the backside which reads: Pat. Pending Made in USA. Also, the paper backing and wire look pretty aged too! The phrase on it reads: No Matter Where I Serve My Guests It Seems They Like My Kitchen Best, with pics of salt & sugar cannisters, roosters, teapot, old stove and a granny putting something on the stove. The frame is quite nice, and is 18 inches wide x 15 inches tall. The background color is mauve. Very nice pic for a country style abode!

Vintage Pottery Spoonrests and Wall Plaque For sale is vintage pottery spoonrest, a teaspoon holder and a wall plaque. 3 items, one price!. Very cute double daisy spoon rest. Might be McCoy or Shawnee, but have not yet located it in the book. 6.25 long x 5.5 wide. Has some crazing, and one tiny fleabite on upper rim edge. Vintage McCoy Pottery Apple Wallpocket For sale is a vintage McCoy Pottery apple wallpocket. c:1953. This wallpocket has a couple of minor flaws which is why the price is reduced. It has one teensy-weensy glaze pop on body of apple, it is glazed over, so this is just a very minor factory flaw. It has one surface flake off a bottom leaf which is visible; and one flake on the underside of a leaf which is not visible from front display portion. If I were keeping this for myself to display I would just dot the visible flake with some green paint. The interior of the apple has some mineral deposits, but who cares, it's on the interior! As you can see from the pictures, despite the little flaws, it is still a great old McCoy for your collection! Final markdown.

McCoy Lady Wallpocket For sale is a lovely McCoy lady wallpocket. No chips or cracks, just faint, fine all over crazing; collector quality. The cold paint is intact, and she is marked on backside McCoy; shown in the 1980 book by S. Huxford, pg. 163, as well as the other McCoy books. A great wallpocket/headvase for your collection! Vintage Chef and Stove Wallpocket Planter For sale is a vintage chef and stove wallpocket planter. ADORABLE! It does have an incised mark on the backside, but it is very hard to make out what it says. I believe it reads: Hollywood Ceramics; I can read the Holly part, but then it gets very hard to tell. And, I do know that there used to be a company called Hollywood Ceramics. It stands 5 tall x 4.25 wide. It has one minor fleabite on backside upper rim; some noticeable crazing on interior of planter, and faint all-over exterior crazing. Looks like something from the 1930-40's to my eye. A real cutie for your collection! (And, because the fleabite is on the back, I do not consider it significant).

Dutch People Chalkware Plaques For sale are two cute vintage Dutch people chalkware plaques. c:1953. Both for one price! One is signed: Patsy Korbely, Sept. 3, 1953; other is unsigned. No chips or cracks; some paint flakes off the larger one. Tall one is 7.75 tall x 4.5 wide; other one is 6 tall x 5.5 wide.
