Vintage Native American Sewing Basket For sale is a vintage Native American sewing basket. This is a large basket and has a round wood spool holder inside. Looks Iroquoian; exterior colors are very faded but bottom and interior colors are still visible. It is 10 wide by 6.5 tall. Age est: late 19th, early 20th C. For display only now due to fragility of fibers, (some are worn and frayed; one split in lid and some loose fibers. Still displays nice.

Vintage Iroquoian? Native American Basket For sale is a vintage Native American basket. Really nice Native American basket; purchased at a Pow Wow in MI about 25 years ago. (I have two coming up for sale, both said to be Iroquoian, and both purchased at the same Pow Wow; age est: early 20thC; might also be Cherokee). This basket has a very dark patina on it, and red and green dyed fibre. Likely used as a small sewing basket. It is in good vintage condition and is 3.25 tall x 5.5 wide. I am parting with some of my personal collection of baskets; no space left! A great book on Native baskets is by S.P. Turnbaugh, 2004 edition.

Wood Notions Box For sale is a wood notions box. Very cute wooden notions box. Not sure on the age of this item, but it is all wood. It is 9 inches tall x 6.5 inches wide x 4.5 inches deep. It reads: est. 1902 Notions, J. Thomas. It looks like it is made out of Douglas Fir. A cool little box for your crafts/sewing room shelf! Two Vintage Ceramic Iron Shaped Boxes For sale are two vintage ceramic iron shaped boxes. (2 for one price = only $20/each). Very cute vintage Japan covered trinket boxes shaped like irons. Faint all-over crazing, a couple tiny glaze pops, and one tiny surface flake off the top rim near the point; you probably would not even have discovered it but for my telling you about it; it is not noticeable or detracting since exterior and interior clay are very dark colored. They have an incised mark on their bottoms: 'Made in Japan'. They would be cute on a shelf in your new, made to look vintage laundry room; or your sewing/craft room to hold pins, needles, etc.!

I have another one in stock with Singer sewing attachments in it; this one has no attachments in it. Dovetailed corners and folds out flat and displays the sewing attachments. The box reads: Patented February 19, 1899. I also have a 1904 Singer Sewing Attachment brochure showing the same box on page 2! The paper brochure is quite fragile, but the wooden box is in good condition and is 6.5 long x 3.5 tall x 3.5 deep. A fabulous box just by itself!
