Vintage Cobalt Blue Porcelain Tray
For sale is a vintage cobalt blue porcelain tray. Drop-dead gorgeous hand painted tray w/gold basketweave design under the blue which is like the antique mustard jar I have for sale which I believe is Austrian. This tray is free of chips or cracks, some very minor tiny scratching as expected, and is 12 inches x 8.5. No makers marks on it. Very beautiful! Victorian era? Antique Victorian Mirrored Plateau
For sale is an antique Victorian mirrored plateau. c:late 19th C. This gorgeous table plateau/vanity tray, has a metal mount with beveled mirror and tin bottom with clamps to remove should you ever want to replace the original mirror. The mirror is in what I consider 'good vintage' condition; some minor scratches, but nothing distracting, and once you have your pretties on it, you won't ever see them anyway! This tray is 10 x 10 x 1.5 tall and heavy! The four flowered feet are painted, (original paint). A lovely tray for your perfume bottles and boxes! An almost identical one is shown on pg. 243 of the 1970 book by L. Lantz on antique Am. Kitchenware. Used during the Victorian era as formal centerpieces to set a cut-glass bowl on; today, we use them to put vanity items on.
