Vintage Feminine Shaving Accessories For sale are some vintage feminine shaving accessories. Perfect for your new, made to look vintage powder room! First is a cool mug, (I assume it is a shaving mug), with pink roses on it, (heavy duty; transferware). Bottom has a circular backstamp, Made in Something, (it is too faint to make out, but it is not Japan, because there are too many letters, could be Germany, Austria, etc.) It is 3.5 tall x 3.5 wide, no chips or cracks. Next is a vintage shaving brush to go in the mug, (4 tall, badger bristles). Next is a small white vintage Homer Laughlin platter to set these items on; backstamped in green, Homer Laughlin, Made in USA, F 37, (1937), N 5. It is 9.25 long x 7 wide. Next is a beautiful vintage hankie, (white on white w/delicate hand-done stitching. Next are two Avon milk glass sachet bottles with orig. boxes, (no sachet left inside bottles). (You could add a vintage razor with it and set it atop an antique washstand!) Pic #3 shows a cool way to display your mustache/shaving mugs!

slopjar20409

Huge Antique Slop Jar For sale is a huge antique covered slop jar. This jar/pot is a whopping 14 tall x 13 wide from handle end to other side. Bottom has some gold numbers/initials on bottom, but not sure who made it, likely French, but could be American, e.g., Homer Laughlin c:1800's. Feels like earthenware. Very ornate, likely made for a VIP. Features hand painted pansies. It has some minor age flaws; crazing; some discoloration pic #6, mainly around interior mid section; a couple of tiny black dots pic #8; some wear on the gold, a very tight, faint small hairline on upper rim pic #6; and some tiny flakes off interior lid rim edge which are not visible on exterior, pic #5. The beauty of this item outweighs the expected aging flaws. If you like antiques, you will love this. I think it is gorgeous and the aging flaws just add to is charm. It is also very heavy. You can use it on an antique washstand; under a vanity table, or remove lid and use as a shabby chic planter for a large plant. You might never come across one as ornate or large as this one! #esa1/09

Antique Staffordshire Earthenware Biscuit Jar For sale is a very beautiful, good sized, antique Staffordshire tea biscuit jar. This jar has incised EPNS Made in England on lid, electroplated nickel silver, aka silver plate. This jar looks small in the pics, but it is a good size jar. The bottom is backstamped in brown: With Peek, Frean & Co's Compliments, crown symbol, S.F. & Co. England, and an initial; and there is a raised square with a number in it = S. Fielding & Co., Stoke, Staffordshire. No chips or cracks; but does have some crazing. The floral design appears to be transferware with some hand painting. It stands 6 tall; top rim is 4.5 wide. There is some wear on the upper metal rim, but overall, this item is in 'good antique' condition. A delightful jar for your collection! Staffordshire Ironstone Jardinaire and Pedestal For sale is a Staffordshire Ironstone jardinaire and pedestal. This item features transferware colonial ladies and gents. (sorry, the pics did not come out that well; it is very pretty!). The bottom of the pedestal is marked on the interior: Ironstone Staffordshire England, in blue, with two horses on each side; the jard is marked with a banner type symbol Staffordshire England also in blue, and next to rim it has incised 5x. The jard is 5.5 tall x 6.75 wide across top rim; the ped is 11.75 tall x 6 wide across bottom rim. When jard is atop the ped it stands 17.25 tall. It has some faint crazing, mainly near bottom of pedestal, but no chips or cracks. It looks great next to a bathtub with a fern in it! (I like to use double sided tape just to secure the jard to the pedestal in case you bump it, it won't fall off).

Vintage Porcelain Mug and Saucer For sale is a porcelain mug and saucer with transferware picture of peasant women. Saucer is 5.75 wide; cup is 3.5 tall x 3 wide. Good overall condition; cup has one teensy fleabite on upper rim, (hard to spot it, you can find it by running finger around rim); saucer has some white spots on pink area, but this is under the glaze.
