McCoy mug and cookie jar. 2 items, one price! Nice white, 1971 McCoy Happy Face Mug, (very faint mark on this one), and a Cookie Jar minus its lid. The mug is in excellent condition and measures about 4 inches. Not quite as common as the yellow mugs. The 2002 bv on the mug was $30-35. You also get the McCoy cookie jar, (it is missing its lid, but makes a nice vintage planter!). It looks like someone used the cookie jar as a planter, and it has one tight small hairline in the back of the head, but otherwise is in good condition. The cookie jar would look great on your desk or in a dorm room with a nice plant in it, and you can have your coffee in your mug! (reference info: J.Snyder's 2002 book on McCoy Pottery, pg. 168). |
