Vintage mixing bowl. Very heavy, brown glazed mixing bowl. You can see by the thick, worn smooth bottom rim that this is quite an old one, and because it is not marked, (the really old ones are not marked)! c.1920-30's would be my guess on this one. Buff colored clay, so it is not Zanesville, but could be Watt, McCoy, Morton, or other. It has no cracks, but does have some signs of use on the interior, and some very teensy rim nicks from usage, e.g. cracking eggs against rim, not noticeable unless trying very hard to see. It is 7 7/8 inches wide and about 4.5 inches high. It goes well with other stoneware items, or any of the Hull, McCoy, RRP brown dinnerware lines. |
