Imperial pressed glass bowl. c:1981-1982. Not quite vintage yet, but very nice anyway! This lovely bowl has the Imperial logo on center interior bottom that dates to the above referenced time period. (see pg. 15 of the 8th edit. on Carnival Glass by B. Edwards, it shows most of the marks used by the bigger American companies). This elegant bowl is 10 long x 8 wide x 2 high. It has two small chips on rim, not really noticeable unless trying to find them, and common on glass with ruffled edges. This bowl is great because you can actually use it since it is collectible but not an antique yet! And, it is so much nicer to serve nuts, mints, chips in an elegant glass bowl rather than tupperware! |
