Antique Fenton carnival glass bowl. c:1911. 'Peacock Tail' pattern, amethyst color. Gorgeous bowl, shown in the book. No chips or cracks; has some stretch lines on exterior bottom, and one 2 inch line in bottom interior of bowl which I believe is just an irregularity in the glass not a scratch; like a 'glass scar?'. Most of the antique carnival bowls seem to have them that I come across. This bowl is amethyst irridescent on both sides of bowl and is 9 wide x 2.5 tall. The line in bottom of bowl is not even visible unless you have it under your nose. It is a very beautiful bowl! #1671-est2/07 |
