Circa: 1880 Manufacturer: unknown
For sale is an antique English ironstone chamber pot. Likely Meakin or Grindley. It has the Royal coat of arms symbol, (2 animals flanking the crown) reads: Ironstone China Warranted, (no England mark, so it predates 1890). Heavy-duty, no chips or cracks. It does have crazing and is somewhat darkened with age. Great for the antique washstand or to use as a unique planter for a large fern! 7/09intest-ck |
