The Faith of A Collie - Terhune "Faith of a Collie" is a rare title, used for the book, "Treasure" by Albert PaysonTerhune. The setting is the mountain areas in northern New Jersey. This is a Grosset & Dunlap book, by arrangement with Harper & Bros.
Two collies run across the bottom of the hardcover front. There is some wear on the cover, at the bottom of the spine and, very slightly, at the corners. The cover linings and frontspages have a very nice pen & ink drawing of collies, woodland & a stream. 215 pages. 5" by 7 1/4". The story is suitable for older teens and young adults. Would be a nice gift, even for graduation.

Book "Bedford Village" - Hervey All This is third book in Allen's "The Disinherited" book sequence. A full page color illustration by Wyeth faces the title page. The story takes the reader into the Pennsylvania wilderness, where Bedford Village is a small settlement. The setting is a little before the American Revolution.
305 pages. A book to hold your interest and make you want to read the others of this sequence.
No dust jacket. Biege cover with dark green title and blindstamp of a tree & stars used in "The Disinherited" series. It also shows some shelf wear, slight bumping at the base of the spine plus a brownish 3/8th"stain across the top of the spine. Slight shaking, but the spine seems firm. Photos to follow.

Royal Photo Soc - Year's Photograpphy 1944-45 This small (7" x 9" paper covered book has photos and advertising for the 1944-45 Royal Photographic Society - Great Britain. There are 52 black & white photos shown with 10 pages fo comments. There are also many ads for photo related itesm Condition is fairly clean, but with several edge and spine tears. These have not been taped. The 1st ad page is missing. Photos will follow

A Book of Treasured Poems - 1929 This is a nice, small (4 1/2" x 7 5/8") hardback book. It has 143 short poems - Poe, Wordsworth, Longfellow & many other favorites. Laidlaw Publishing, 1929 - 3rd printing. A lot of small pen & ink illustrations. Very nice. Front has light green title on darker green cloth. Some bumping of corners and at ends of spine. There is some water spotting on the lower corner of the cover - outside only, nothing on the inside.
Condition is good, except for the corners mentioned ( see photos)
Still, condition is good enough that this would be a very nice, thoughtful gift. Photos to follow.
