Valentine Vintage Embroidered Handkie Here is another pretty emboidered handkie for Valentine Day. Little red and white emboidered hearts are arranged around the wide border. The edge is scalloped with larger red & white hearts making part of the scallops. The fabric appears to be a very fine linen such as was used in the 1940-50s. Condition is good. 10 1/2" square.  

Valentine Vintage Scarf by Mary Ann This pretty red & white scarf has a Valentine theme. The flowers on the winding stems are little hearts. This is a hand hemmed, soft, silklike synthetic fabric. It is a 26" square. Mary Ann, the maker's name is on the red border. Condition is good.
This is probably from the late 20th Century.  

Valentine Handkerchief - Red Flocked Hearts This vintage Valentine handkie is from the mid-20th Century, when nylon was new and being tried for many fabric items.
There are small flocked red hearts scattered over the handkie. The border is a scallop pattern. 13" square
Condition is good, though the nylon has yellowed slightly with age. A great gift for the Holiday collector. Nylon as a choice for handkies did not last long!
