This service plate is beautiful and elegant. It was made by Copeland for Spaulding & Co., Chicago and Paris. It has a gold edge, then a black line with gold beading, then a very intricate gold lacy motif by the beaded portion. There is a center circle with a simpler lacy gold motif. The design on this portion is the same at that used on the edges of several of the Spode patterns. It is 10 1/4" in diameter. There are four of these available, which we are selling separately. |
