This pendant with an amethyst heart hangs from a 5-1/2mm pearl in a gold setting. The amethyst is a truly beautiful color, cut well so the light is reflected in many ways. the 19" chain is unique with a tubular clasp. The amethyst heart is 16mm high by 15mm wide (This is about 6 carats). This is an estate item, and was probably acquired in the 1960s. However, chain may be older judging from the clasp and style of chain.
