This extremely rare bill is an Italian 50 Lira Allied Military Currency Bill issued during WWII. Of the thousands of world bills I have collected, this is the only one of these I have ever seen. Although it has some kind of purplish staining it is still in great condition. The front reads 50 Lira Allied Military Currency, 50 Lira, Issued in Italy, Series 1943. The reverse features the four freedoms; freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from want, fredom from fear. Measures 6 x 3 inches and comes in a protective sleeve. A wonderful rare collector's item. |
