Silver Seal Aluminum Tea Kettle pre- Guardian Service
Silver Seal is the pre- Guardian Service Name for the Century Metalcraft Corp.
When Silver Seal went over to GS many of items were re-issued under the Guardian Service name.
This Tea Kettle was NOT one of them!!
As Guardian Service did not make a tea kettle this is certainly a coveted piece for the serious collector!
It is in great shape as you can see from the pictures. Shiney (needs a little more elbow grease) and the wooden handle is in nice shape for the age!!
Sometimes they are burned, not the case here!!
The inside does have some deposits, rust but this is easily cleaned up.
Circa: 1930's
Condition: Very Good

Guardian Service Chicken Fryer with METAL Lid
A wonderful large chicken frying pan. Measures 12" diameter. It has the coveted metal lid. Once the war began, all production of metal lids ceased to supply the war demand and the glass lids came into service.
They are essentially indesrtuctible- no way to chip, crack or whatever!
The pan is clean and shiney inside. It does show wear to the bottom where it sits on the stove and is slightly bowed (does not sit flat). Is still a striking and HTF (hard to find) piece of collectible kitchenware.
Circa: 1930's
Condition: Good

Guardian Service Turkey Roaster w/ racks
This is the grand-daddy of the Guardian Service equipment. The Guardian Service Utlity Roaster (the official name of this piece) will be one of your most prized possessions for preparing beautifully golden browned turkeys, chickens and roasts. Its special scientific construction and roomy domed cover allows plenty of room for a 16-18 lb turkey- two or three medium sized broilers- a large ham or roast of any kind.
One top-stove burner does all the work...no need to light the oven...saves lots of feul, and means a cooler kitchen, too. By actual tests, meats shrink less, and even the tougher cuts are made tender, juicy and delicious. Basting is not necessary....heat is distributed evenly over top, sides, and bottom for PERFECT roasting.
The "NEVER TILT" cover is another welcom feature of the Utility Roaster. It;s specially made to hold your roasts and keep them hot while you make the gravy in the body of the unit.
This can be used either on the stove top, or in the oven. Yet another versatile piece from GS!
It measures approx. 19" end-to-end, 12-1/2 inches with the lid on.
The racks included actually come apart (like for the kettle) to use either as a lift for food, or together for canning purposes.
A must have for the serious collector, a necessity for upcoming holiday cooking.
Circa: 1930's
Condition: Very Good
