The Wren Building, dating from 1695, was built by the architect Thomas Hadley, from the plans attributed to Sir Christopher Wren. Although it was seriously damaged several times by fire over its long history, the outer walls are largely original. It was the first building in Williamsburg to be restored by John D. Rockefeller, Jr.
The Wren Building is the oldest academic building in the English speaking America in continuous use. In the early days of Williamsburg it served as the meeting place for the courts of the colony and the General Assembly.

Mabry Mill- Blue Ridge Parkway, Virgina Framed Photo
Mabry Mill is one of the most photographed aspect of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. Edwin B. Mabry was the owner of Mabry Mill, which was a gristmill and sawmill for many years in the early part of the century.
Perhaps you visited there, or knows someone who hiked the area- what a great piece to collect!!
It is a color photo by J. Wellington Young and is framed in a beautiful light colored wood frame that really accents the glorious fall colors.
