It comes from a well protected collection of early Chinese advertising samples.

The plate is 8,5 x 6,2 inches and has a holder at the reverse, so it can stand stable.

Russian Japanese War: Tinted Postcard with Battle Scene. Authentic, tinted vintage postcard from the period of the Russo-Japanese War, 1904-05.

It depicts a scene with Japanese troops attacking Russians at the sea shore.

China: Authentic old Photo from Yan’an, Shenxi Province. Main street in Yan’an, the hometown of Chairman Mao Zedong. The photo depicts a little boy in front of a typical building in this town.

6,5 x 9 inches. Fine condition. The photo is from the 1960s. Yan'an is a city in the Shanbei region of Shaanxi province in China.

Yan'an was the endpoint of the Long March, and the center of the Chinese communist revolution from 1935 to 1948. Chinese...

Size: 18.8 x 15 inches. Vertical centre-fold, a 0.8 inches tear at lower part of the centre-fold. Minor toning of the paper along the margins. All in all...  

Larger, Antique Map Chinese Empire 1893 Decorative, engraved, very detailed old map from 1893, covering the are of Imperial China, Korea, parts of Russia, Birma, India and Japan. At the lower left part is a detailed small map of Peking ( Pe-King, King-tscheng or King-tu after older translations ).

The countries and some areas have outlines in different colors and thus marking British, French and Portuguese possessions in 1889 – 1890.

Republic of China: Attractive Letter to USA. 1929 China 1929: Letter, sent Peiping ( Beijing ) to Michigan, USA.

It is the complete letter, cover and actual letter, sent by a certain Mr. Sam Wilson from the Oberlin Shansi Memorial Schools in Taihu, Shanxi to Josh Hillman.

The cover has 4 stamps attached, a pair of Scott# 284 and 2 # 280, all tied by bilingual Peiping – cancellations.

Clean and fresh, carefully opened no tears or creasing.

Antique Tibet Bronze Iron Ritual Knife. 19th Century Rare, unique and beautifully decorated 19th Century Tibet Bronze and Iron Ritual Curved Knife (100+ years old).

This knife is of impressing look, finely cast with Inset Iron Blade clear relief and handle details. Size: 5 x 4,5 x 1,3 inches. Fine condition.

There are no cracks, chips or apparent damage, only surface dirt which can be easily cleaned.

Minor oxidation of the blade, typical surface...
