Sarah Bernhardt (1844 –1923) was a French stage actress, and has been referred to as "the most famous actress in the history of the world" and earned the nickname "The Divine Sarah."

Unused postcard in very fine condition.

The name Marienbad first appeared in 1786, since 1865 it has been a town. In 1872 the town got a railway connection with the town of Eger (Cheb) and thus with the whole Austro-Hungarian Empire and the rest of Europe.

The town soon became one of the top European spas and it was very popular with...

There is some aging of the cover ( Normal wear of a payer book in use. Just the spine shows more obvious aging ). There are no tears or folds inside the book. The...

Antique Letter Opener with Jewish Rabbi. 16 inches. Antique wooden object ( probably a letter opener ) with a Rabbi as grip

It measures 16" in length. ( the handle is 5,8 inches, the blade 10,2 inches long ). The head is of different material with 2 eyes of red glass, looking like rubies. The grp and the blade are made of 2 different kinds of wood.

The physiognomy is exaggerated.

Very fine condition ( minor scratches on the blade exist...
