Rocket Mail on Way to Moon. Gemini Flight 1965. 1965: Rocket mail with GEMINI II, Nr. 12 of a total 50 sent. Sent by the important Austrian inventor Friedrich Schmiedl who became famous world wide.

Those 50 postcards have been sent by Gemini 2, GLV-2 12557, launched 19 January 1965 as suborbital flight to test heat shield.

We can see images of 65 orders and medals from all around the world, mostly European but also African or Asian.

The larger chromolithograph is 12.1 x 9,8 inches ( vertical centrefold ), the smaller one is 6.2 x 9.8 inches.

WWI: Calendar from 1916 as double Postcard. Military Strike Decorative postcard calendar from 1916 ( double postcard). The front side is lithographed and shows a soldier with gun. This patriotic postcard was issued for collecting funds for war-widows and orphans.
