She is more the kind of a cupid, rushing through the air with an ambulance bag and a gun. A cupid and a stork with baby are at the top of the photo.

HMS Castor was one of the Cambrian subclass of the C-class of light cruisers. Design of this class was based on the earlier cruisers HMS Champion and HMS Calliope, which, in turn, were based on the HMS Caroline class, using the same hull as the Carolines but with two...

The second lithograph portrays uniforms of Non-German countries, such as Austria-Hungary, Italy, Russia, France Great Britain, Turkey, Serbia, North...

The postcard had been published by Klein in Wien in 1900, used in 1900.

Scarce vintage postcard of French Mercanery Soldier, Zouave. W.W.I.: Vintage postcard. tinted etching, with a French mercanery soldier, serving for the Zouaves. It was a blank postcard for soldiers, who had then just to fill in their manes and units.

Unused, fine condition ( minor corner knock ).

Zouave was the name given to certain infantry regiments in the French army. They were first raised in Algeria in 1831 with one and later two battalions, initially...
