The Synagogue in Plzen. Vintage Postcard 1910. Old postcard from 1910 with a bird’s eye view at the center of Plzen ( Pilsen ) – town with the Synagogue at the center of the postcard. Sent to Praha in 1910. There is a scratch on the surface of the postcard, otherwise fine condition.

Plzeň (German: Pilsen) is a city in western Bohemia in the Czech Republic.

Old Gentleman and Danseuse. Vintage Postcard, Artist signed. Lovely old postcard from app. 1910 by the Austrian Artist Schoenpflug. The image shown an elderly gentleman as his is starring at a battle dancer with delight.

It is one of the earlier Schoenpflug postcards with no lines or anything else printed at the reverse.  

Imperial Russia: St. Petersburg Postcard as Field Post, 1917. Old Russian postcard: St. Pétersbourg Petit Théatre ( The St. Petersburg Little Theater ). The postcard depicts the entrance to the theatre and a horse drawn cart in front.

The postcard has been sent as field-post in 1917. Field-Post- and Military stamps at back. Slight wear.

Funny French Vintage Postcard Carnival. Appr. 1910 "Carnaval de Nice XLIII" ( 43rd Nice-Carnival ). Vintage postcard from app. 1910. Unused, fine condition.

The postcard shows a man riding a huge pelican, surround by masses of people attending the carnival. Published by Byleen Frères in Nice.

In 1772 L´viv became part of Austria during the First Partition of Poland and was, known in German as Lemberg, the capital of the Austrian Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria.
