Stylized Antelope Pin
This curly-horned fellow could be a springbok antelope or a kudu - - I researched antelopes until I learned much more about African animals than I had ever thought I'd know! But his red rhinestone eyes and short legs definitely make him a fantasy animal, not a realistic depiction. Antiqued goldtone pin measures 2 inches high and has a safety clasp on the back. Very good condition, heavy and well-made. No maker's mark. Clasp is a tiny bit loose, but works fine. Age unknown - I would guess circa 1970s.

1940s Nightingale and Roses Pin
The bird and flowers depicted on this 1940s silvertone pin remind me of an old story I once read about a nightingale singing in a rose garden. It’s a romantic image, and may well have been the inspiration for this lovely pin. Vintage pin measures 2.5 inches across and has a C-type clasp on the back. Clasp is a little loose, but still works. Unsigned pin is silvertone base metal. It is in very good condition, with an antiqued finish.

Heavy goldtone pin is almost three-dimensional. Bunny’s ears contain blue rhinestone navettes and his body is covered with glued-in blue rhinestones. His milky white eyes bug out from his face. Vintage Owl Pin – White & Pink
Owl pin has green rhinestone eyes and pink dots on a white enameled body with some goldtone trim. Unsigned vintage pin dates from the 1960s-1970s. It measures 1.75 inches high and is in fair to good condition with some enamel loss and some sloppy gluing around the eyes. In spite of the wear and the glue, this pin is still quite attractive.

Vintage Rhinestone Pin in Light Olive Green
Pear-shaped rhinestones are accented with small round rhinestones - - all in a luscious shade of light olive green, although the rounds appear a bit lighter. All stones are prong-set and have closed-back settings. Unsigned goldtone pin has a lovely raised dimensional design: the center portion is higher than the surrounding part, making the pin protrude about 3/4 of an inch. Pin measures 1 5/8 inches by 1 5/8 inches. Safety clasp on back, plus two little eyelets, perhaps for use as a necklace. Very good condition - very, very slight spotty darkening in the stones and minor chipping on a couple of stones, but not much (visible through a loupe). This circa 1950s pin is a real beauty!

Multicolor Glass Cabs Brooch
Goldtone vintage pin (brooch) is a swirly, scrolled, openwork design with moonstone-like glass cabochons in various colors: yellow, green, light blue, lavender, and mauve. Glass cabs have a pretty shine similar to moonglow Lucite. Cabs are glued into the goldtone setting. Unsigned pin is in good condition although it shows some age. There is some wear to the finish. Upon close inspection, you will find that the cabs were not all glued in neatly and carefully. These little details would not be obvious when worn. Mid-twentieth-century brooch measures 2.25 inches across and has a safety clasp on the back.

Beautiful Blue Vintage RS PIN
Deep blue marquise rhinestones plus small round rhinestones in pale blue and medium teal form a curved pin that resembles a paisley. Unsigned silvertone pin has a narrow openwork edging and a smooth curve through the center. The glued-in stones are just gorgeous in shades of tropical ocean colors. Stones are bright and lively. Pin measures 2 inches by 2.25 inches and is in excellent condition. Safety clasp on back. Textured pattern on back of pin and settings have closed backs. Circa late 1950s-early 1960s.

Raspberry Moonglow Lucite Cabs Brooch
Vintage pin has white rhinestones setting off the raspberry-colored Moonglow Lucite cabochons. Lucite cabs have a gorgeous glow and are all prong-set. Rhinestones are glued into the silvertone pot metal setting. Safety clasp on back. Pin/brooch is in good condition although the finish shows wear (mostly on the back) and three of the rhinestones show some age-yellowing. Unsigned pin measures 2 inches across and is the perfect style and color for this season’s fashions. Circa 1950s.
