Playful 1960s Purse Made From Wooden Beads - Japan
This fun little purse is made of black wooden beads. Fabric lining with a metal zipper at the top. One interior pocket. Label reads "MANTESSA Hand Made in Japan." Purse measures 8 inches wide by 6 inches high and has a flap that folds over the zippered top. Strap measures almost 18 inches and is made from goldtone curb chain and more wooden beads. Very good condition - a little scuffing to the beads here and there, mainly on the back (see all pictures). A darling little conversation piece!

GARAY Convertible Clutch Purse With Satin Lining
A wonderful accessory for your elegant evenings out! Vintage clutch purse has an 11-inch round serpentine goldtone chain that can be folded into the purse or pulled outside of it to carry it by. Purse measures 9 1/2 inches across the widest part (near the bottom) and 6 1/4 inches high. Frame measures 8 inches across. Exterior of purse is finely-textured black crepe in a synthetic - probably rayon. The fabric is gathered from the snap-frame. The frame is unusual in that it is brushed goldtone on one side and black fabric-covered on the other (see all pictures). A brushed goldtone snap-clasp closes the purse on top. The interior is lined in peach satin and has one open side-wall pocket with GARAY MADE IN U.S.A. stamped in gold. Very good condition, circa 1960s.

Morris Moskowitz Crocheted Raffia Purse with Unusual Closure
This vintage Morris Moskowitz handbag has a handle formed by two gold colored metal bars that have a snap closure on each end (see pictures). This is the only purse I’ve ever seen with this unusual closure. Most purses have one snap closure at the center top. Purse has a detachable vinyl and chain shoulder strap, so you have a choice of carrying it as a handbag or slinging it on your shoulder. Large bag is crocheted from raffia in a neutral, natural straw color. Inside is lined in fabric – a cute flower and seed pod print in light orange, green and tan. Inner wall pocket with metal zipper. On the other side of the interior there is an open pocket that contains a snap frame coin purse that matches the lining fabric. Label on the pocket reads MM CROCHET STRAW. Purse measures 14.5 inches across the widest part by 12.5 inches high, not including shoulder strap. Very good condition – only a couple of small frays on the outside, and the inside looks like it’s never been used. Large bag is very practical for carrying everything you need!

Darling little purse is completely covered with tiny pearlized glass beads. Front has a diamond design of bugle beads. Bugle beads trim the edges also. The bugle beads are a silver color that has darkened to a pewter shade. Silvertone curb chain handle is attached to hinged fittings so you can pull it out or tuck it inside the purse. Satin-lined interior and one wall pocket. Label inside reads MADE IN JAPAN. Handbag measures 7 1/4 inches wide by 5 inches high and is in good condition. I checked it over carefully and counted less than six missing beads. Very cute vintage accessory.

White Woven Box Purse with Lucite Trim by Lesco
Darling vintage box purse has a white pearlized Lucite handle, clasp and trim. Interior is lined in white vinyl and has a zippered center pocket and an open wall pocket. Label on the interior pocket reads MADE IN HONG KONG EXPRESSLY FOR LESCO. Box purse measures 8 inches wide by 7 inches high (no including handle or feet) and is about 3.5 inches deep. Bottom has four little metal feet. Purse is in good condition with some wear, most noticeably a spot on the bottom (see picture of bottom) and a thin brown streak on the front that measures less than one-half inch long. Both the interior and exterior have some small marks, but the purse is still very useable. The frame, hinges and clasp are in great working order. The stylishness of this vintage handbag makes up for its few very minor flaws!
