Hunting Scene Tapestry Handbag 1930s-1940s Tally Ho Fox Hunt
Both sides of this vintage purse have a beautifully detailed scene of a hunt, complete with hounds and horn and men wearing 18th century styles. Snap frame bag has a short handle and is lined in beige linen-textured fabric. Two inner pockets plus a zippered wall pocket with a satin lining. Handle is made from brown plastic that resembles leather and frame top is covered also with brown vinyl-like material Very large purse measures 16 inches across the widest part by 15 inches high (not including handles). No manufacturer’s marks or labels. Very good condition.

Black Corde Handbag
Genuine Corde bag has an exterior zippered pocket that fits in nicely with the cord design. Short double handles and three interior compartments; the center one is zippered and has a wall pocket. Label inside reads GENUINE CORDE and has the letters AB in a little wreath. Zippers are metal. Purse measures just over 11 inches wide at the widest part by 5.5 inches high (not including handles). Excellent condition. Circa mid-twentieth century. I lightened the photos quite a bit on order to show you the details.

Richere Beaded Handbag by Walborg Convertible Clutch Purse
Lavishly beaded fabric purse has a label inside that reads RICHERE BAG BY WALBORG / MADE IN HONG KONG. Exterior is covered with silvertone sequins and several hundred dangling clear plastic teardrop beads that shimmer and shake with each movement. Quite a stunning effect! Interior is lined in white satin and has one wall pocket. Purse measures 7.5 inches wide by 6.25 inches high, not including handle. Silvertone snap frame and smooth chain handle. Carry this purse by its handle or tuck the handle inside to carry purse as a clutch. Very good condition, some wear and markings in interior. Lovely vintage accessory dates from the mid twentieth century. I’ve seen some lovely Walborg purses but never one as extravagantly beaded as this one. It shimmers like silvery ice.

Lizard Kelly Bag by Sydney California
A classic and classy style, this kelly bag is made of rich dark brown lizard. Goldtone frame and snap closure. Four little metal feet on the bottom. Interior is lined in brown vinyl and has two small wall pockets and the original mirror that was included with the purse. The inside pocket has a goldtone stamping that reads SYDNEY and then a picture of a spinning wheel and then CALIFORNIA. Purse is in very good condition with only slight wear. It measures almost 10 inches across by 6 1/2 inches high (not including top of frame or handle) and at the base, it is 3 inches deep. Circa late 1950s - early 1960s.

Shiny Black Patent Handbag by Lewis – Small Size
Petite bag looks like a daintier version of the large luggage-styled barrel bags with double handles and a snap frame closure. Shiny patent leather (which is really vinyl) is in good condition with minor scratching. Purse measures 7 inches across by 5.25 inches high by 4.5 inches deep. Interior is lined in black satin and has two wall pockets. One pocket holds a glitter-and-clear plastic comb. The name Lewis is stamped on the lining and although it is quite faded, it can still be read. This little purse would be a good accessory for a petite woman because the proportions would be flattering. Very good condition, circa 1950s.

Beaded Crocheted Vintage Drawstring Handbag
Unusual purse was crocheted from ivory rayon crochet thread with stripes of metallic gold and wooden and metal bead trim. Bottom is translucent amber-colored plastic in a slightly conical shape. Unlined vintage purse measures 9 inches across the top when open and about 7 inches from the top edge to the plastic base. The plastic base is 6 inches in diameter. Drawstrings have patterned goldtone tips on their ends. Goldtone metal beads around the top edge are very attractive when the drawstrings are pulled closed. Excellent condition. Difficult to date as it is a handcrafted item but I am guessing mid-twentieth century.

Pink flowers and green leaves are embroidered on the front of this vintage clutch purse. Tiny white seed beads are sewn on in double rows of loops and curves on both the front and back (see all pictures). Beige simulated pearl beads accent the top and sides. The frame is covered with fabric. Lovely, sweet, and feminine 1950s purse is lined in white satin, has a snap closure, and an inner wall pocket. Label on inside pocket reads Bag by Debbie / Hand Made In Japan. Purse measures just over 9 inches across at the widest part by about 6 inches high. Very good condition, a little wear to some of the simulated pearl beads, but the fabric is not stained or soiled; in fact, the interior looks unused.

Wales Sweetheart Mad Money Case
Round green vinyl zippered case measures 4 5/8 inches across when closed and opens to a full 9 1/4 inches when unzipped. Interior lined in yellow fabric with elasticized pockets. One pocket covers a round mirror which has darkened. The other pocket contains a green vinyl key case. There is an elastic loop in the middle that was probably meant to hold a tube of lipstick. An amber-colored plastic coin sorter has WALES imprinted on it and the numbers 1, 5, 10 and 25 on the coin holders. Below the coin sorter is a gold-colored imprinting of a shield and WALES "SWEETHEART". Green vinyl exterior resembles alligator grained leather. Metal zipper has a loop at the end – perhaps to place a finger through while carrying? Circa 1940s-1950s women’s fashion accessory. Good condition, a couple of loose stitches at one end of the zipper.

Purse measures 6 3/8 inches high (not including handle) by 5 7/8 inches across the middle. Good condition with slight wear but all beads are present. The double chain handle, which may be doubled to make its length shorter, does not match the frame exactly and may be a replacement.

Dark Blue Koretolope Purse
The inside of this vintage handbag is stamped with the manufacturer’s name – Koret – plus the name of this soft material: Koretolope – Made of "Non-Crockable" Suede Calf. Very soft material, feels like fine suede. Interior is lined in dark blue fabric, has an attached coin purse with a zipper, and two wall pockets, one of which contains a mirror. The top has a snap frame within the purse and lining - it opens and snaps shut without an exterior tab. Handle is made of Koretolope material and measures 19 inches, including brass rings. Purse measures 11 inches wide by 7 inches high. Very good condition. Circa 1950.
