White Beaded Clutch Purse by Mr. Jonas Hong Kong
Vintage fabric clutch is covered with white plastic beads that are actually half-beads that are attached directly to the fabric, not sewed on. Interior is lined in white fabric and has a large pocket that closes with a metal zipper. Front flap of purse closes with a snap. Label on inside reads DESIGNED BY MR. JONAS / MADE IN HONG KONG. Purse measures 9 inches wide by 6 inches high (closed). Good condition, slight discoloring at edges and near snap. This has been taken into consideration when setting the price. Circa 1960s.

Vintage Purse - Crocheted Shell Pattern
Vintage handbag was crocheted from spice-brown thread in the classic shell pattern. Crocheted double handle, woven fabric lining, and top metal zipper closure. Purse measures 6.75 inches high (not including handles) and 9.5 inches across the bottom (widest part). Across the top, it measures 7.25 inches. Good condition, with a couple of small light spots, minor soiling along the bottom, and a tear in the top picot-trimmed edge (see pictures). The condition has been taken into consideration when setting the price.

White Vintage Handbag Made of Beads
Faceted white plastic beads form the purse and handle. Purse is lined with ivory-colored fabric and has a metal zipper. No manufacturer’s label; however this purse is made exactly like others I’ve had that were labeled "Made In Japan." Purse measures just over 8 inches across by 6 inches high (not including handle) or 10.25 inches high (including handle). Very good condition, just one small stain in the lining.

Delicato by Markay Handbag with Lucite Handle
Black vinyl vintage purse has a wonderful Lucite handle in reddish-amber golden tones. An oval plaque on the front (over the snap closure) matches the handle. The inside is lined in black faille and consists of two sections with a zippered compartment between them. Label reads Delicato by Markay Bags Made In USA. A label below that reads Gilmore Brothers Luggage Department. Purse measures 8.25 inches across by 6.5 inches high by about 1.5 inches deep (purse can expand in this direction). Very good condition with a little scratching on the handle. I tested the handle and it is not Bakelite (that had been my first thought when I saw it!)

Shades of brown and metallic gold thread give this vintage clutch purse a delicate elegance. The woven pattern is a fine floral spray, almost oriental in appearance, like cherry blossoms. Snap closure, brown satin lining, coin purse included, two inner pockets (one with a metal zipper), and an embroidered interior label that reads "Lennox Bags." Clutch purse measures 10.5 inches by 5.5 inches when closed. Very good condition. Interior and interior edges show a little wear. Circa mid-twentieth century.

Rich, deep brown lizard purse in a Kelly style with leather trim across the top, like a stand-up collar running across the top edge. Vintage purse measures 10 inches across at the widest part (the bottom) by 6.5 inches high, not including the handle. Interior is lined in light tan vinyl and has one zippered wall pocket with a metal zipper. Four little brass feet on the bottom of the purse. Goldtone metal snap frame and closure. No manufacturer’s marks or labels. Circa 1950s-1960s purse is in good condition with a little wear but it is still a very attractive accessory.

Vintage Crocheted Wool Drawstring Purse
Unique drawstring handbag appears to have been created by a talented home needleworker. Ivory-colored wool yarn was crocheted in a ridged pattern. Top has two drawstrings so it’s easy to open and close. Unusual design looks like it has "shoulders" (see pictures). Bag measures 10.5 inches across the widest part by 8.5 inches high, including the top ruffle. Very good condition. Because it was made at home, it is difficult to be sure of its age, but I would guess that it dates from anywhere from the 1940s to the 1950s. Beginning in the 1960s, synthetic yarns became so popular that it is unlikely that a crocheter would choose wool for a purse.
Because it is wool, I am including a little lavender sachet that I have stored with it.

Vintage Chic Brown Felt Envelope Clutch Purse
Fabulous purse in super condition! Brown felt clutch has a snap closure and goldtone corner trim on the flap. Interior has two large compartments plus a smaller one. Front compartment is lined in peach satin and has a gathered, elasticized pocket. Rear compartment has a brown satin lining and a double wall pocket. Purse contains its original accessories: a peach satin snap-frame coin purse, comb, and mirror. Envelope-style clutch measures 12 inches long by 6 3/8 inches high. No manufacturer's label. Very good condition - looks hardly used. The only problem I can find is a little stitching coming loose on the little wall pocket in the rear compartment. Circa 1950s.
