Sweet, Feminine Satin & Lace Purse Pouch for Compact, Etc.
Ivory-colored satin pouch is trimmed with soft pink chantilly lace and a ribbon rose. Dainty pouch measures just 4 1/4 inches wide by 4 3/8 inches high and contains a smaller, plain satin pouch that measures 3 7/8 inches wide by 3 5/8 inches high. The two pouches provide more protection for your pretty vintage compact, or whatever else you may choose to carry - cash, credit cards, mirror, medication. Pouch dates from the mid-twentieth century and is in very good condition, with one small spot on the inside near the opening.

Milk Glass Vanity Jar
Lovely vintage white glass jar has an aqua design on the front: a pretty lady and flowers. Metal screw-top lid. Glass top with a finial fits over the screw-on lid and lifts off - it doesn't fit tightly, although the screw-on lid keeps contents secure. Overall dimensions: 5 inches high by just over 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Excellent condition, unmarked.

Vintage Pink Crocheted Covers for Tissues and Soap
Candy pink cotton crochet thread was used to make these kitschy covers. The tissue box cover is trimmed with purchased white lace. It fits the small boutique type of tissues or Kleenex (about 5 inches high). The soap cover is made to look like a turtle and is almost 7 inches long. An oval bar of bath soap fits in it nicely. I’ll bet it was made to fit that Sweetheart soap that was so popular when we were (much) younger. Both hand-crocheted pieces have drawstring closures. Age and needlework artist are unknown; I purchased them with some other vintage textiles. Very good condition. Soap and tissues not included.

Vintage Dresser Box or Sewing Box or Catch-All
Mid-century plastic box is hexagonal with a hinged lid. Inside is plain, not compartmented. Brown plastic has beautiful warm, subtle swirls of color, including red and orange. Very nice for the person who likes autumn colors. Suitable for use as a man's dresser caddy, or a sewing/craft box, jewelry box, or a place to keep small treasures, cards or love letters. Top of lid has textured and smooth pattern. Metal hinge. Inside bottom of box has imprinted MADE IN U.S.A. REG. TRADE MARK around a symbol that looks like an upside-down peace symbol with extra arms. Good condition. Box measures just over 2.5 inches high and 8 inches across from flat side to flat side (just over 9 inches across point-to-point).
