Vintage Cream Crocheted Fringed Shawl
Another vintage find that is perfectly in fashion today! Lightweight cream-colored acrylic yarn has a shiny thread running through it. An unknown, talented crocheter of the past made this shawl in a knot stitch pattern with solid bands every few inches. Long rectangular shawl measures 17 inches wide by 68 inches long (including fringe). Shawl is in good condition with minor signs of wear, particularly to the fringe. Still very attractive to wear as it is. This neutral color seems to complement every outfit beautifully.

Vintage Knitted Fringed Mohair Shawl
Knitted leaf design shawl has looped fringe around all four sides. Soft, fuzzy mohair yarn is a light pinkish-beige color. Long rectangular shawl measures 19 inches wide by 60 inches long (including fringe). Shawl is in very good condition and the pattern appears to be reversible; it is attractive from either side. I cannot determine for certain whether it is hand-knit or machine-knit - - it could be either.

Vintage Crocheted Shawl – Grey, Sparkling, Lacy, Lovely
This unusual and pretty shawl is just as versatile as those off-white shawls you find everywhere, but much more unique. Soft shades of grey have been crocheted into an openwork fan-style stitch with alternating rows of darker grey yarn that has silvery lurex threads woven into it. Shawl measures a generous 82 inches long (including the yarn fringe) by 18.5 inches wide. Very good condition. It is difficult to date these items that were created by hand at home by needleworkers, but I would guess this shawl dates from somewhere between 1950 to 1980.

Blue Gingham Smocked Hat
How often do you see smocking any more? I believe this hat was made by a talented home seamstress. Age of hat is unknown. Light blue and white gingham was formed into a brimmed lightweight summer hat with a high crown that is gathered at the top. The measurement around the head (the crown, or where a hatband would be) is about 23 inches. Smocking has a little "give" to it even though it isn’t elasticized. Very good condition.

Short White Mesh-Topped Gloves - So Very Ladylike
Soft, lightweight, fabric-backed vinyl and nylon mesh form a dainty pair of gloves for small hands. No size is given - in fact, they are labeled "One Size" - and they measure about 3 inches across the hand knuckles. Good condition - there is a tiny ripped stitch between the solid material and the mesh near the wrist of one glove. Label inside reads 55% vinyl 45% nylon One Size WPL 8931 Made In Hong Kong"
