Cherrydale Farms Candy Tin
At one time, this tin held 9 oz. of Cashew Butter Crunch, manufactured by E. Cherry Sons & Co., Inc., Pittsburgh, PA 19143. Now this pink, yellow, and white striped tin could join your tin collection or hold your sewing or craft supplies. Good condition, slight darkening and one scratch on the lid. Tin measures 5 inches across by almost 2.25 inches high.

Vintage Candy Tin with Floral Urn Design, Murray Allen
Handled tin has an urn design on both sides with stylized flowers in red, pink and blue. Flowers have an embossed design; if you run your finger over them, you will feel it. Tin measures 4.25 inches high, not including the handle or the brass-colored knob on top. Metal attracts a magnet. Bottom of tin measures 3.5 inches across and reads: Murray Allen Imported Quality Confections/ Murray Allen Imports, Inc. New Rochelle, N.Y. U.S.A. and Murray-Allen Imports Limited Montreal, Canada/ Container Made in England/ Portland. Good condition with some scratching (see photos). An excellent tin for tea or simply for decoration.

Set of 8 Aluminum Coasters with Oriental Theme - Cranes
(I confess I can't tell a crane from a stork!) Aluminum coasters measure almost 3 1/4 inches across and have a Japanese-inspired design featuring cranes or storks, mountains in the background, and a lotus in the foreground. No manufacturer's mark or label. Set of 8 coasters is in good condition with a little scratching. All the coasters are a bright silvery color - - the scan made some of them look dark, but they are all bright. Mid-twentieth century.

Metal Syrup Pitcher with Intricate Floral Design
Early twentieth-century syrup pitcher stands 5 inches high. Metal does not attract a magnet. Bottom is marked with a spider web that has a star at the center and a W inside the star. The number 90 is under the spider web. Hinged lid with a fancy knob and a curved cover over the spout (to keep the flies out!) Lovely floral design around pitcher and on lid. Inside is very pitted. I believe this little pitcher has been through a fire which damaged its plating. It was probably silver-plated originally. Although the plating is damaged, the pretty design is still intact. It looks as though it may polish well, although it will not look the way it did originally.
